Man found guilty of child sexual offences
A man has been found guilty of multiple child sexual offences that took place over a six-year period while he was living in Wootton just outside Bedford.
Kevin Langford, 54, of no fixed address, was found guilty of 29 different child sexual offences appeared at Luton Crown Court today (31 May).
He had already pleaded guilty to three counts of sexual activity with a child at an earlier court appearance.
He will now be sentenced in July, on a date yet to be decided.
At the trial, details of Langford’s perverse crimes over six years where revealed to the jury.
They were told how he regularly sexually assaulted his female victim and forced them to take part in sexual activity with him.
He made her pose for provocative photos. He then uploaded these photos to an adult website claiming that she was over 18.
The suffering he caused his victim didn’t end there. He also arranged for other men to have sex with her, meeting them at hotels so they could also abuse her.

Police launched an investigation in April 2017 after the victim bravely came forward and told them about the abuse she had endured.
Langford was later arrested and charged with 30 child sexual offences, including the assault and rape of a child under 13.
He was also charged with possessing and distributing indecent images of children, causing/inciting a child into prostitution/pornography and trafficking a person out of the UK for sexual exploitation.
He is due to be sentenced in July on a date to be fixed.
