Already convicted paedophile jailed again

An already convicted paedophile has been jailed again for committing more sexual offences against a child

Kaziu Kedzior, 56-years-old of Netherhall, Leicester but recently living in Sutton in Ashfield appeared at Leicester Crown Court where he was found guilty of six counts of indecent assault on a male child aged under 13 years old

The court was told that Kedzior was previously jailed for nine months in 1991 for repeated sexual assaults of a six year old boy and a ten year old girl

The paedophile was re-arrested in 2016 after allegations he had abused another young boy were reported to police.

Kedzior was sentenced to:

  • Eight years imprisonment

  • Five years imprisonment concurrent to above x2

  • Eight years imprisonment concurrent to above x3

However, although Kedzior was sentenced to a total of 21 years, two of the sentences were concurrent meaning that he will serve just eight years

The judge told Kedzior that he would remain on the sex offenders register indefinitely and he would be subject to a sexual harm prevention order when released.

The SHPO order prohibits him from any unsupervised contact with any child (male or female) under the age of 16
