Huddersfield man sentenced for possessing extreme pornographic image and indecent photos of children

A Huddersfield man who was caught in possession of extreme pornographic images has been spared an immediate prison sentence.

Martin Foster, 34, of Browning Road at Deighton, faced three charges relating to making indecent photographs or pseudo-photographs of a child between August 2011 and May 2018.

He also faced one charge of possessing an “extreme pornographic image” which portrayed an act likely to result in serious injury.

Foster also faced a charge of possessing an indecent photograph or pseudo-photograph or a child.

The offences took place at his home address. His case was dealt with at Leeds Crown Court on Friday.

Foster, who admitted all the offences, was given prison sentences for each offence ranging from four months to eight months.

The concurrent sentences were suspended for a period of 18 months.
