A man has been put on the sex offenders’ register and made to pay £500 in compensation to a boy he “sexually touched”
Thomas David Hough, 28, committed the offence at at Bath Spa railway station on May 5 2018.
Hough, of Heron Garden’s in Portishead, admitted the offence after previously denying it at Bath Magistrates’ Court.
He returned on Wednesday, January 23 to be sentenced.
According to the charge, Hough “intentionally touched a boy and that touching was sexual when he did not consent and you did not reasonably believe that he was consenting”.
He was given a community order under which he must complete 15 days of rehabilitation under supervision, as well as 105 hours unpaid work within the next 12 months.
He was told to pay compensation of £500 and £200 to the Crown Prosecution Service, and sign onto the sex offenders’ register for five years
