Pervert took pictures of sex attack victim

A pervert who took photographs as he carried out a string of sex attacks on a teenage boy in what was described as a “huge fall from grace” has been spared more time behind bars.

Kieron Tuckley had achieved significant status in the community through his hard work, said Jas Mann, defending.

He produced a host of references for the 49-year-old who, he stressed, was “bitterly ashamed” of his conduct towards the young victim.

Judge Michael Dudley told Tuckley that jail would only be of short duration and would not involve him getting help within the community.

He ruled the best way to deal with his offending was for him to be placed on a lengthy community order, so he could receive treatment for his problems.

“I am going to take an exceptional course because you have also spent six or seven weeks being held in custody,” he told Tuckley at Wolverhampton Crown Court.

Tuckley, of Lowbridge Close, Willenhall, admitted seven charges of sexual assault and another of making an indecent photograph of a child.

He was placed under supervision for three years with a condition he attends the sex offenders treatment programme and register as a sex offender for five years.

The judge also made a five-year sex offenders’ protection order barring Tuckley from associating with anyone under 18
