Pervert that abused boy avoids prison sentence

A man has avoided a prison sentence after he was convicted of a sexual offence against a young boy.

​Jack Waters of Ashford appeared at Maidstone Crown Court, where he was sentenced for inciting a child of 14 years of age into sexual activity.

The court was told that Waters was a friend of the family of the victim.

Waters who works at a hotel in Brands Hatch had incited the schoolboy into sexual activity when he visited the boy in his bedroom. 

Waters was sentenced 10 months imprisonment which was suspended for two years

He was handed a 16 month community order rehabilitation

The judge told Waters that he must adhere to a five month curfew between 9pm till 5:30am and that he would also be tagged

Waters was made subject to a five year sexual harm prevention order and was told that he must register as a sex offender for a period of five years
