Justice campaigner found with child abuse images had ‘paedo slut’ written on her backside

An NHS worker who launched a campaign against street violence has been jailed after she was found with child abuse images.

Joanne Foster, 44, was jailed after police found pictures and videos of her engaging in sexual activities with dogs and having sex with multiple men outdoors.

One picture showed her exposing herself with the word ‘paedo slut’ written on her bottom and ‘young boys cock only’ on her stomach.

Foster was praised by former Prime Minister David Cameron for launching a campaign against violence after her long-term partner was killed in a one-punch attack.

She fought for tougher sentences and spoke about the dangers of drink-fuelled trouble.

However, she then started a relationship with former soldier Gary Keenan, 43, who was found with indecent pictures of children on his phone.

Detectives noticed Foster had also been pictured during a raid at their home in Macclesfield.

In the raid in April last year, devices belonging to Keenan were also seized and hundreds of indecent images of children and illegal pornographic images from the internet featuring beastiality with dogs and horses were found.

Prosecutor Sarah Badrawy said: ‘One set of pictures of Foster, taken by Keenan, shows her in Heaton Park in Manchester, wearing a white dress and exposing [herself].’

Foster admitted owning 103 indecent pictures of children while Keenan had 926 along with another 463 extreme pornographic images and 13 prohibited images in the form of animations.

Miss Badrawy said that after starting the relationship, Keenan referred to Foster as his ‘product’ and encouraged her to engage in high risk and sometimes illegal sexual activity.

The court heard that Foster, a former NHS admin worker, blamed her partner for the actions, saying Keenan downloaded the images to her phone. But it was said that in police interviews the pair blamed each other.

Foster had earlier also admitted one count of possessing indecent images of children and two counts of outraging public decency.

Foster was jailed for 15 months while Keenan as jailed for two years and six months.

Judge Patrick Thompson said they had engaged in ‘depraved sexual activity in public’.
