Pervert jailed after being caught by paedophile hunters

A 44 year old man from West Yorkshire has been jailed after grooming who he believed were young girls online.

Andrew Hollingworth, 44 of Holmfirth appeared at Leeds Crown Court where he pleaded guilty to attempting to meet a female child following online grooming.

The court was told that Hollingworth had contacted the online profiles of who he believed belonged to young girls including that of a 14 year old.

He claimed in the chat that he was a pilot. But later admitted he worked on a farm

The pervert sent highly sexually sexualised messages and arranged to meet a 14 year old girl with the clear intent of engaging her in sexual activity.

However, the child did not exist, and Hollingworth was instead met by a pair of paedophile hunters called ‘Ryan Hunts and Kyle hunts’  who pose online as children to catch sexual predators.

When the paedophile hunters arrived at the arranged meet, Hollingworth attempted to run them over, in a bid to escape.

The hunters apprehended Hollingworth and questioned him on his online activity

The predator openly admitted he had contacted several profiles he believed were young girls.

The hunters rang the police and Hollingworth was swiftly arrested

The judge sentenced him to nine months imprisonment and ordered him to register as a sex offender for a period of ten years
