Tonbridge paedophile filmed himself raping a child
A Tonbridge man who filmed himself raping a child has not shown any remorse for his actions, police have said.
Christopher Hutson, of Oak Lane, was jailed today for a wave of child sex offences between 2014 and 2018.
The 58-year-old pleaded guilty to two counts of rape of a child under 13 years of age, six counts of sexual activity with a child, four counts of taking indecent images of a child and two counts of possessing indecent photographs of a child.
Hutson was described as a depraved individual who had not shown any remorse for his appalling actions over a number of years.
The court has noted the level of his offending and it is only right that he is to serve a substantial prison sentence.
Hutson has been in police custody since July 10, when he was first arrested and charged.
Hutson appeared at Maidstone Crown Court for sentencing and was jailed for 18 years.
The judge also imposed an indefinite sexual harm prevention order and he will serve a minimum of 14 years in prison.
