Alexander Hughes, of Cwmbran, was found guilty of four sexual offences following a trial at Aylesbury Crown Court

A 33-year-old man has been convicted of sexually assaulting two teenagers while working as a first aider.

Alexander Hughes, of Cwmbran, was found guilty of four sexual offences following a trial at Aylesbury Crown Court in Buckinghamshire.

In July 2014, while working as an Emergency Care Assistant in the High Wycombe area, he touched an 18-year-old girl inappropriately while she was being transported by ambulance.

He later messaged the woman via social media asking if she wanted to exchange indecent photos of one another.

Then, in October 2017, he sexually assaulted an 18-year-old girl in a Bristol nightclub while he was working as the club’s first aider.

He was under investigation for the 2014 incident at the time but neglected to inform his employer.
