Man jailed for eight years for rape and sexual assault – Bicester
Following a Thames Valley Police investigation, a man has been sentenced for rape and sexual assault in Bicester.
Justin Finnerty, aged 22, of Roman Way, Bicester, was found guilty unanimously by a jury of two counts of rape and one count of sexual assault by penetration at Oxford Crown Court yesterday (16/10).
Finnerty was sentenced today (17/10) at the same court to eight years’ imprisonment.
In the early hours of Monday 10 July 2017, the victim, a woman in her twenties, was raped twice by Finnerty and was also sexually assaulted by him at an address in Bicester.
