Update: Nieto appeared at Stafford Crown Court and was made the subject of a 12-month community order.
He will also appear on the sex offender register for five years and must pay a £85 victim surcharge.
His community order also includes an activity requirement of 30 days.
Burton pervert admits attempting sexual communication with underage girl
A 48-year-old man has admitted attempting to communicate with an underage girl for sexual gratification ahead of his sentencing.
Javier Nieto, of Oak Street, Burton, appeared at Stafford Crown Court on August 20 for a plea and trial preparation hearing after previously denying the offence.
He has now pleaded guilty to attempting to communicate with a girl under the age of 16 for the purpose of obtaining sexual gratification, in Burton, between July 14 and 17.
Disgusting Javier Nieto, 48, spent a week talking online to a person he believed was a 14-year-old girl, asking her if she wanted to “be with” him and that they should meet up.
However, the girl did not exist and Nieto was actually engaging in sexually explicit conversation with a member of paedophile hunting team ‘The Children’s Pride
He is due to return to the crown court on September 10 where he will be sentenced.
