Teenager avoids prison sentence after raping and abusing schoolgirls

A teenager has avoided a prison sentence after abusing and raping five young girls

Matthew Keyte of Worcester appeared at Coventry Magistrates court where he pleaded not guilty to: 

  • Three counts of child rape

  • Two counts of sexual assault by penetration on a child under 16 

  • Four counts of sexual assault on a child aged under 16

A trial took place at Leamington Spa Court where Keyte was found guilty of the above charges

Keyte avoided a prison sentence and was instead handed a youth rehabilitation order with intensive supervision
