Sex abuse man jailed for 10 years
A man who repeatedly sexually abused a young girl has been jailed for 10 years.
A judge told Robert Brownbill it was very likely his victim had suffered psychologically.
His offending behaviour initially came to light in 2004 and he stopped. But a few months later, he started again and it was two years before police were informed.
Judge Nigel Gilmour, QC told Brownbill it was an aggravating feature he continued his behaviour when he should have learned his lesson.
Brownbill, 35, of Jubilee Road, Crosby, was ordered to sign the sex offenders’ register for life and banned from working with children indefinitely.
Brownbill denied the allegations but was convicted of five offences involving sexual assaults
