Man sentenced for string of sexual offences

A Pinner man has been sentenced after appearing in court charged with a number of sexual offences against a young girl

Phillip Dixon, 47 of Pinner sexually abused a girl over a 18 month period beginning when she was 11

At the hearing on 27th April, 2018 at Isleworth Crown Court, Dixon was sentenced as follows:

Four counts of indecent assault on a female child – Pleaded Guilty

20 months Imprisonment suspended for 24 months on Suspended Sentence (CJA 2003)

Sign on the Sex offenders register for a period of 10 years

Suspended Sentence – Must carry out unpaid work for 200 hours before 26-Apr-2019
Probation will supervise this work.

Four counts of gross indecency with a girl under fourteen years of age – Pleaded Guilty

16 months Imprisonment suspended for 24 months on Suspended Sentence (Concurrent)

Suspended Sentence – Must carry out unpaid work for 200 hours before 26-Apr-2019. Probation will supervise this work.

Two counts of attempted buggery – pleaded not guilty

Count ordered to remain on file; not to be proceeded with without leave of the Court or Court of Appeal.

Attempted Incest – pleaded guilty

16 months Imprisonment suspended for 24 months on Suspended Sentence (Concurrent)

Suspended Sentence – Must carry out unpaid work for 200 hours before 26-Apr-2019. Probation will supervise this work.

Phillip Dixon was sentenced to total of 20 months imprisonment which was suspended for two years.

He was told he must sign on the sex offenders register for 10 years.
