Pervert caught by paedophile hunters 

A pervert who turned up to meet a 14 year old schoolgirl he groomed online has been caught by paedophile hunters 

Unemployed Andrew Hales 46 of Bristol appeared at court to plead guilty to a number of sexual offences including: Sexual communication with a child and meeting a child following sexual grooming

The court was told that Hales contacted an online profile of a 14 year old girl.

He sent a string of sexually charged and explicit messages with a view of engaging her into sexual activity.

He also told the child that he wanted to get her pregnant Smith arranged to meet the child at the local train station. 

However, when he turned up at the location, paedophile hunting team ‘Keeping Kids Safe’ were waiting and quickly identified Hales and apprehended him.

The team explained that they were an online children protection team and that the child was actually an adult. Hales appeared to be disappointed 

The team questioned Hales on his internet activity. 

The team called police, who arrested him at the scene. It was later revealed that Hales had drugs on him

The judge sentenced to Hales to a three community order, five year sexual harm prevention order and ordered him to register as a sex offender
