Pervert caught with indecent images of children
A man found with nearly 5,000 indecent images of children has been made the subject of a five year Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) and Sex Offender Notice.
Officers executed a warrant at the home of 43-year-old James Crudginton in Drywoods, South Woodham Ferrers on March 29 this year.
They searched the home and seized a computer, hard drive, computer towers and USB sticks.
In total the equipment was found to contain:
546 Category A images and films (Category A is the most serious category of abuse imagery)
588 Category B images and films
3,758 Category C images and films
He was charged with and pleaded guilty to three counts of making indecent images of children when he appeared at Basildon Crown Court on October 27.
He was made the subject of a five-year SHPO and Sex Offender Notice, was given a three-year community order, was ordered to complete a 90 day rehabilitation programme and was ordered to pay £535 costs and a £60 victim surcharge.
