Moment enraged paedophile hunters confront pervert meeting girl, 13, for sex

Paedophile hunters filmed the moment they confronted a suspected child groomer after he arranged to see a young girl he met on the internet for sex.

Bradley Masterson, 19, had been speaking on a social media site to a girl he believed was 13 and called Roxxy.

In fact, Masterson was speaking to Dark Justice – a group who had set up the account to lure in paedophiles.

Masterson sent a series of suggestive messages to “Roxxy”, despite her reminding him that she was underage.

He asked her if she wanted to try having sex, as well as requesting a photograph of herself getting changed.

Newcastle Crown Court heard on August 8 how the fisherman, of North Shields, Tyneside, had pursued the young girl and lied that he thought she was 18.

Alex Burns, prosecuting, told the court: “The communication did not go on for long before he asked to meet her.”

He added: “He was unable to explain why the sexual messages had been sent.”

In Dark Justice’s video, the group can be seen confronting Masterson and asking him how old the girl he’s meeting is, to which he replies: “I’m not too sure actually, she never really told me.”

He also strenuously denied that he was meeting her to have sex with her.

Despite Masterson admitting trying to meet a child following sexual grooming at an earlier hearing, the teenageravoided jail.

Masterson pleaded guilty and was given 12 months in a young offenders institution, suspended for two years with supervision.

He must also sign the sex offenders register for 10 years and has been made subject to a sexual harm prevention order for five years.

Recorder Ben Nolan said that Masterson had been “entrapped” into committing the crime.

The judge added: “Having said that, you responded to those messages and showed enthusiasm for committing the offence.

“You appear to have an unhealthy interest in young girls and you have to get away from that. I suggest you get away from communications on the internet.”

Dark Justice has caught several paedophiles by posing as young girls on the internet.
