Whitstable paedophile has been jailed for sex offences against two young victims
A man in his 70s has been jailed for committing sexual offences against two young victims in the 1990s and early 2000s.
Graham Kemp, 71, and of Gosselin Street in Whitstable, was arrested in March 2016 after his victims came forward to police the year before.
He was found guilty of indecent assault on a young girl, which happened between 2002 and 2004.
Before his trial he pleaded guilty to one count of indecent assault and one of indecency with a child. These offences, against a second young victim, took place in the late 90s.
Kemp was sentenced to five years and three months in prison on June 11, 2018, following a trial at Canterbury Crown Court.
He was also made the subject of a sexual harm prevention order restricting his access to children and computers indefinitely.
