Burnham man jailed for a year after admitting string of offences

A man has been sentenced to 12 months in prison after admitting a string of offences.

Luke Faulkner, 25, of Glebe Way, Burnham, was arrested at The Anchor Hotel on The Quay at 6pm on Monday June 20

He appeared in Chelmsford Crown Court on Monday August 8 where he admitted having an offensive weapon, possessing cannabis and common assault.

He also admitted assaulting a police officer on April 25 and breaching the requirements of the Sex Offenders Register on May 27.

Faulkner was handed eight months in prison for carrying the offensive weapon, two months for the common assault, one month for the assault on a police officer and one month for breaching the Sex Offenders Register requirements.
