Sex offender avoids prison over repeated and prolonged abuse of young girl

A sex offender has avoided a prison sentence after pleading guilty to multiple counts of indecent assault against a young girl

Transgender Skye Larman of Hull appeared at Hull Crown Court where pleas of guilty to eight counts of indecent assault against a child aged under 13 were accepted

The court was told that the female victim was just eight years old when the abuse began and it continued over a two year period. Larman was aged 15

The judge handed Larman 16 months imprisonment which was suspended for two years

A requirement to register as a sex offender for 10 years was also made
