Pervert caught with child rape images and movies
A former plasterer says he will probably leave Teesside after details of his sordid collection of child sexual abuse images has now been made public.
Michael Glenc was caught with more than 400 child abuse images – 38 in the most serious category showing children being raped – and 12 hours of depraved videos.
Police analysed a computer tower and an external hard drive belonging to the 60-year-old in August last year, and Glenc pleaded guilty to three charges of making indecent images of children.
Glenc of Bruce Avenue, Whinney Banks was well-known around Middlesbrough as a self-employed plasterer. He admitted his crimes as soon as he was caught
Judge Sean Morris said: “A sentence in prison will only put him inside for a few months. There’s work that needs to be done with him.”
Suspending his ten month prison sentence for 18 months, with 30 days rehabilitation requirement, Judge Morris told Glenc: “You will have to face up to your demons.”
