Ex-locksmith helped the poor, then raped their young girls
A BRITISH paedophile who gave aid to vulnerable Kenyan families to gain access to their children has been found guilty of 11 counts of child sex abuse.
Keith ‘Mozzy’ Morris, 72, is said to have showered local girls with gifts then taken them to hotels to rape and sexually abuse them.
One victim, giving evidence via video from Kenya, said Morris, of Hull, east Yorkshire, had done ‘bad things’ to her and said she would be in trouble if she told anyone.
Leeds crown court heard the retired locksmith abused two girls, aged between 12 and 15, during aid trips to Africa in January 2016 and February 2017. He was convicted of four rapes, three assaults by penetration and four sexual assault charges.
He was also convicted of two counts of intending to pervert the course of justice after asking the victims to retract their claims. He will be sentenced on July 17.
