Sex beast, 57, jailed for preying on girl of 13 after buying her a Dixie chicken and a milkshake
A carer who was paid to look after the elderly and vulnerable has been jailed for molesting a vulnerable girl of 13
Richard Odusanya, 57, attacked the teenager in a park after buying her a Dixie chicken meal and a millkshake.
The pair met at a bus stop in Lordswood Road, Harborne, on the night of August 29, 2016, after she had run away from a social worker.
She asked Odusanya, who had just finished a shift at the nearby Kenrick Centre, for 50p before they both boarded the bus.
Darron Whitehead, prosecuting at Birmingham Crown Court, said it was accepted the teenager was a willing participant in the activity but it would have been obvious to the defendant that she was not 16.
Mr Whitehead said the victim’s mother later tried to find out who the defendant was by ringing his mobile and pretending to be her daughter.
He said police traced Odusanya through his phone.
He was found guilty of three counts of sexual activity with a child and was jailed for four-and-a-half years and ordered to register as a sex offender for life.
Passing sentence, Judge Simon Drew QC told Odusanya: “She was a very vulnerable person.
“It must have been obvious to you that was the case and that she was extremely young, bearing in mind your work history, training and experience
“We have all seen the footage from the interview.
“You yourself admitted during the course of your interview that you were clearly very concerned about the age disparity and her behaviour which was highly sexualised in a very unusual way.”
