Serial flasher exposed himself to 10-year-olds
SERIAL flashing pest Craig Bell walked free from court yesterday after a judge was told he had served 141 days on remand in custody.
But Bell, 26, who exposed himself to women and to a group of 10-year-old girls was put on the sex offender register for 10 years.
He was also given a nine-month prison sentence suspended for two years and warned that he faced a “substantial” time in prison if he re-offended.
Bell, of Grampian Court, Stanley, County Durham, exposed himself to a woman, her 10-year-old daughter and two of the daughter’s friends at Malton picnic area near Lanchester, one evening in June last year. He also committed a lewd act.
In September he was arrested after again exposing himself, this time to a woman on a footpath in Willington, County Durham.
And on November 5 he appeared from behind a privet hedge on a footpath in Annfield Plain at 8.30am, exposing himself and again performing a lewd act in front of a woman, 60.
