Pervert bus driver photographed Stirling schoolgirls
A polish bus driver who secretly photographed women and schoolgirls, zooming in on their breasts and bottoms, has been ridiculed for claiming that he just wanted to show his wife that Scottish girls wore school uniforms.
Grzegorz Golebiowksi snapped women and schoolgirls on the Stirling University campus, at Stirling bus station, and in the streets.
Over 17 months, he amassed a total of 3566 images of up to 40 women aged from their teens to the 30s, focusing on their breasts, buttocks, legs and genital areas, Stirling Sheriff Court was told.
He was caught after going into the Thistle Marches Shopping Centre, near Stirling Bus Station, while on a mid-afternoon break, and secretly filming a group of schoolgirls with his mobile.
A shopper noticed he was acting suspiciously, wearing a hi-vis jacket and carrying a First Bus bag.
The shopper followed him back to the bus station and reported the incident to the bus station supervisor.
Police were called in and raided his home and seized his phone.
Prosecutor Susan Campbell said: “The nature of the photographs and the clandestine manner in which they were taken would suggest this was done for sexual gratification.”
Golebiowksi, 59, of Polmaise Avenue, St Ninians, Stirling, pleaded guilty on indictment to committing a breach of the peace by filming and photographing females, whose identities remain unknown, without their knowledge or consent.
Sheriff William Gilchrist continued Golebiowski’s bail until June 14th, for an evidential hearing on whether he should be placed on the register
