Norfolk man jailed for 10 years after pleading guilty to 19 sex offences against children
A man has been jailed after admitting a string of sexual offences against children which took place over more than 30 years.
Stephen Cousins, 64, has been sentenced to 10 years imprisonment after he pleaded guilty to a total of 19 offences against three victims, who were all children at the time.
The offences, which happened between 1979 and 2016 included 10 counts of indecent assault on a girl under the age of 13, six counts of indecency with a child, and three counts of sexual assault of a child under 13.
Cousins, formerly of Neylond Crescent, Hellesdon, was jailed following a hearing at Norwich Crown Court last month.
Following his conviction he has also been put on the sex offenders’ register for life.
