Coventry paedophile tried to meet a child for sex
A Coventry man has been jailed for trying to meet a child for sex after he had groomed them online.
Christopher Seymour, of Broad Park Road, Henley Green, was yesterday sentenced to three years behind bars after pleading guilty to one count of arranging to meet a child under 16 following grooming.
Seymour was arrested on January 10 following an investigation by the South East Regional Organised Crime Unit (SEROCU) and was charged the same day.
Seymour, 44, also received an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order and was ordered to sign the sex offenders’ register for life at Aylesbury Crown Court.
