Kidderminster man jailed for attempted rape of girl
A 29-year-old man from Kidderminster has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for two counts of attempted rape of a girl under 13 years old.
Henry Loveridge, age 29, formerly of the Hoobrook area of Kidderminster, appeared at Worcester Crown Court for sentencing.
On September 29, 2017, Loveridge attempted to rape a female child in a wooded area in Kidderminster.
He was caught by a member of the public who called the police, and was then arrested and later charged the following day.
On March 1 this year, he pleaded guilty to the offence and also to an additional count of attempted rape of a female under 13, in relation to an offence which took place within a house in Kidderminster in 2016.
This offence was reported to officers while they were investigating the later incident.
