Vile paedophile sentenced to 17 years
A 51-year-old man has been jailed for 17 years for sexual offences he committed between 2010 and 2014.
A warrant was issued on 29 January by Warwick Crown Court, where Wayne Domeney failed to appear to face charges relating to a number of sexual offences, including rape and causing a child to engage in sexual activity.
Domeney, formerly of Bulkington, near #Bedworth, was convicted in his absence and appeared at Birmingham Crown Court on Friday (23 March) for sentencing, he was found guilty of an additional charge of failing to appear for trial for which he was sentenced to four months in prison.
Domeney now of Generation Place, Consett, County Durham, was found guilty of:
One count of rape of a female under 13
Three counts of rape of a female aged 13-15
One count of assault of a girl under 13 by penetration
One count of engaging in penetrative sexual activity with a child aged 13-15
One count of causing to incite a child to engage in sexual activity
One count of witness intimidation

Detectives in Warwickshire are appealing for information to locate a wanted 51-year-old man, formerly of the Bulkington area of Bedworth.
A warrant was issued on 29 January by Warwick Crown Court, where Wayne Domeney was due to appear to face charges relating to a number of child sexual offences, including rape and causing a child to engage in sexual activity.
Domeney was sentenced in his absence and is now believed to be staying in the Consett area of County Durham and may also have links to Aldershot in Hampshire.
Anybody who may have seen Domeney or anybody with information as to his whereabouts is urged to call police on 101.
