Ex-teacher jailed for ten months for ‘apalling’ child sex offences
A former teacher has pleaded guilty to a child sex abuse charges in an Essex court today has been jailed.
Neal McGowan, 54, who lives in Dickonsfield, Edinburgh was arrested by Essex Police in March 2016.
He appeared at Chelmsford Crown Court today and plead guilty to two countrs of abusing a position of trust by causing or inciting sexual activity with a boy aged 13 to 17 and two counts of making indecent images of a child.
The offences were committed between January and March 2016.
McGowan was sentenced to 10 months in prison and signed the sex offender’s register for 10 years.
