Paedophile who abused eight boys is locked-up for 10 years
A North Yorkshire paedophile who abused eight boys over 35 years has been jailed for 10 years.
Glen Reece Miller, 55, denied nine sexual offences against three Yorkshire boys and four of making indecent images of children, but was convicted by a jury at Leeds Crown Court.
The victims were a boy from the Scarborough area in 2014 and two boys from the Wakefield area between 1981 and 1985.
He already had convictions for sexually abusing five boys aged under 13 in Maidstone in 1990 and Walworth, south east London, in 1993.
Following the Hunmanby man’s sentencing for the Yorkshire crimes, Det Con Sarah Walkey, of the Scarborough serious crime team, said: “Miller’s abuse spans 35 years and the long prison sentence reflects his history of offending and the sheer gravity of his sickening crimes.”
