Suspended jail sentence for making indecent images
A YORK man who admitted three counts of making indecent images has been handed a 16-month jail sentence, suspended for 24 months.
At York Crown Court on Friday Andrew Topping, 37, of Scott Street, was also placed on the sex offenders register for 10 years by the Honorary Recorder of York, Judge Paul Batty QC.
In addition he was given a Sexual Harm Prevention Order for 10 years and an electronically monitored curfew, which will operate between the hours of 7pm and 5am for three months.
He must also attend 29 sessions of the Horizon sex offenders’ treatment programme.
