Paedophile admits sexually assaulting young girl
A 28-year-old paedophile faces sentencing by a crown court judge after he admitted sexually exploiting a primary-school-aged girl in Henlow.
Louis Moss, a serving prisoner, pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a girl under 13 and engaging in sexual activity in a child’s presence when he appeared at Luton Crown Court.
A Royston woman – who we are not naming for legal reasons – admitted neglecting a child’s welfare, as well as engaging in sexual activity in a child’s presence.
The pair pleaded guilty to sexual assault and neglect respectively when they appeared before a Luton Crown Court judge on July 3, but had denied the counts of engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child.
They changed their pleas on the first day of their trial at the same court last week. Judge Michael Kay QC ordered a second count of engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child to lie on file for each of the defendants.
Moss remains in custody, and the Royston woman has been bailed. They are both set to be sentenced at Luton Crown Court on December 12.
