Maidenhead man jailed for string of sex offences against young girls
A man has been jailed for 20 years following his conviction for a range of sex offences against young girls.
Alan Clarke, 55, from White Paddock, Maidenhead, was sentenced yesterday, following his conviction for a string of sex offences, which included the rape of a child under 13, four counts of sexual assault of a child under 13, and inciting sexual activity with a child under 13 – in addition to indecent assault, and indecency with a child.
The offences occurred in Maidenhead between 2003 and 2014.
He targeted three girls in total, one one of whom was aged between nine to eleven at the time of his offences.
Another of his victims was aged just 11, and another was aged 14.
Clarke was an archery coach who volunteered at SportsAble
In addition to his 20-year sentence, he has also been placed on the sex offenders register for life, and given a sexual harm prevention order, also for life.
