Pervert is facing prison after being found with more than 1,500 indecent images of children
A man could face prison after he admitted having more than 1,500 child abuse images.
David Geoffrey Freeman, 56, pleaded guilty to three charges of making indecent photographs of children.
The charges concerned a total of 1,517 pictures found in Stockton in 2015.
Teesside Crown Court heard on Tuesday how Freeman had no previous convictions.
Judge Tony Briggs adjourned the case until October 27 for a pre-sentence report to be prepared.
Freeman, of Invergordon, Scotland, was bailed in the meantime.
The judge told him: “You should understand, as I’m sure you’ve already been told, that the grant of bail in not an indication of what happens to you eventually.
“All sentencing options remain open.”
Freeman will be on the sex offenders’ register as a result of his conviction and was told he would be subject to reporting requirements.
