Man stripped naked in front of youngsters
Magistrates have rejected a city centre banning order for a man who stripped naked in front of youngsters because he was convinced he had “bugs in his clothes”.
Tarron Crutcher returned to Southampton Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, following his conviction for indecent exposure back in July.
He appeared before Magistrates to contest a possible criminal behaviour order, related to his previous conviction.
Prosecutors had hoped to ban the Millbrook Road West resident from the city centre.
The bench also praised the 27-year-old for his improved behaviour and for his progress in his drug rehabilitation treatment.
Crutcher was originally hauled before the courts in July after indecently exposing himself on three occasions, to children in public.
In that sentencing, magistrates handed Crutcher a six-month suspended sentence.
He was also ordered to pay £115 victim surcharge and £50 costs at July’s hearing.
