Hartlepool sex offender, 63, avoids jail over ‘extreme pornography’
A 63-year-old man was given a suspended jail term after a stash of indecent photos and illegal pornography was found on his computer.
Tim Moss, 63, of Elizabeth Way, Hartlepool, admitted two charges of possessing indecent images, and one charge of possessing extreme pornography, Teesside Crown Court heard.
The Recorder, Mr Euan Duff, sentenced Moss to three months in prison, suspended for 18 months, and made him the subject of an order restricting his internet access and unsupervised contact with children for five years.
Moss must register as a sex offender for seven years.
The laptop which contained the images was confiscated and will be destroyed.
