Dudley paedophile took photos of young girls on trains
A paedophile from the Black Country has been jailed after taking images of children on trains while exposing himself.
The National Crime Agency raised the alarm after the images of young girls were uploaded to a website.
British Transport Police’s Cyber Crime Unit traced the source of the photographs to an address at a property in Worcester where Paul Malcolm Owen had been renting a room, and seized a computer.
On it, there were eight indecent images of children. Footage of Owen behaving inappropriately while filming children was also found.
He had also been filming over the top of changing rooms at a swimming baths, British Transport Police said.
Owen, 40, of Bromley Lane, Kingswinford, has now been jailed for 16 months.
He admitted engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child under the age of 13, exposing himself in front of a child, voyeurism, and possessing eight indecent images of children.
The crimes came to light in October last year.
Owen was jailed at Worcester Crown Court on Friday.
