Woman caught with ‘extreme animal porn’ collection celebrates after avoiding jail
A woman who was caught with a collection of ‘disgusting’ extreme animal porn has walked free from court.
Wendy Jones, 54, of Moreton, Wirral could be seen celebrating as she left Liverpool Crown Court, where it was revealed she owned images of women having sex with horses, dogs and a pig, which she had been amassing for four years.
Ms Jones, who is unemployed and receives £600 a month of disability benefits, admitted to six counts of possessing animal porn and was handed a 12-month community order.
The court heard how Jones’ former partner, reported her to the police after she showed her a photo of a young girl and and a man engaged in a sex act.
Rob Jones, prosecuting, said: ‘The defendant appeared to find that amusing. Miss Davies was disgusted.’
When police raided her home they found 31 images of animal porn on a laptop.
Mr Jones said there was ‘evidence of internet search terms appertaining to children’.
He added that the matter was ‘of some concern to the court’.
In handing down the sentence Judge Robert Trevor-Jones said: ‘You now have this conviction to your name, so you have lost your hitherto good character.
‘These were, afterall, quite disgusting images that you had on your laptop – extreme porn, that’s what they are.’
Ms Jones also received a 60-day Rehabilitation Activity Requirement and a 10-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
