Pervert avoids jail after filming naked children and adults

A teenager has avoided jail after secretly recording naked children and adults for his own sexual gratification at The Fifth Dimension gym in Stroud.

Ajay Dhalliwal, 18, of North Woodchester, pleaded guilty to filming indecent images at three separate locations.

Dhalliwal recorded another person doing a private act to obtain sexual gratification in Fifth Dimension Gym in Stroud between August 2014 and March 2015.

He also admitted committing the same offence at the River Island in Cribbs Causeway Shopping Centre near Bristol between September 2016 and October 2016 and in Cirencester leisure centre between November 1, 2016 and November 8, 2016.

He was initially arrested by police after being caught filming a woman and her young daughter while they were naked in a changing room cubicle at Cirencester leisure centre.

Appearing at Cheltenham Magistrates’ Court on Monday, July 17, Dhalliwal was handed a 10 month prison sentence which is suspended for two years.

He was also handed a Sexual Harm Prevention Order for the next five years.

Being handed this order also places Dhalliwal on the sex offenders register, which he will remain on for the next 10 years

Breaching a Sexual Harm Prevention Order is a separate penalty and carries a sentence of up to five years imprisonment.

Dhalliwal was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £140 along with costs of £85.
