Scunthorpe man sentenced for having indecent images of children and extreme pictures of animals
Police found images of child pornography and bestiality after searching a man’s computer equipment, a court heard.
Jason Stark, 46, of Henry Street, Scunthorpe, admitted three offences of making indecent photographs of children and another of possessing extreme pornography.
Jeremy Evans, prosecuting, told Grimsby Crown Court that police went to Stark’s home on September 1 after being given information about indecent images being downloaded.
A total of 76 images of children were found, 37 of them in the most serious category.
They showed girls aged between 12 and 14.
Eight images of bestiality involving a dog were also found.
Stark was given a six-month suspended prison sentence, 40 days’ rehabilitation and a seven-year sexual harm prevention order.
He must notify his details as a sex offender for seven years.
