Pervy driving instructor told pupil to pay for puncture by ‘dropping knickers and bending over’
A driving instructor was jailed after suggesting a sobbing 17-year-old female pupil pay for a puncture by ‘dropping her knickers and bending over the bonnet.’
Pervert Derek Godfrey told the teenager to ‘go out and s**g her way around the world’ and even sent a 23-year-old woman he was also teaching a picture of his ‘wrinkled’ manhood.
The 49-year-old was jailed for 16 months after his conviction for two sexual assaults in 2011 and 2012 which included rubbing the younger girl’s leg as she was driving and, when she had a puncture, suggesting he knew ‘one way’ of reimbursing him.
‘Exemplary’ former soldier bombarded the 23-year-old with lewd text messages and tried to persuade her to have an affair with him.
The instructor, from Dolgellau, north Wales, slapped her on the bottom during one lesson as she was looking under the bonnet to consider fixing it.
Godfrey, who ran Derek’s Driving Tuition, was ‘old enough to be their father’, a judge told him, accusing the ex-serviceman of betraying the reputation of his driving instructor profession.
He was handed a five year Sexual Offences Prevention Order (SOPO) to stop him giving driving lessons to females unless they are accompanied.
The married father-of-two touched both learner drivers up, telling them he wished he was their age ‘because there were so many pretty young girls around.’
After suggesting the teen girl ‘bend over the bonnet’, she cancelled a future lesson and her mother wrote a letter of complaint to The Driving Standards Agency.”
The 23-year-old complained of feeling harassed by his continual texts, one which read: “God, You have got a nice a***”, “can I f*** you please?’
Godfrey also urged her to send him some ‘sexy, naughty pictures’ of herself, and promised to give the woman ‘the time of her life’ in bed.
Judge Philip Hughes told him: “The two women were entitled to feel safe and secure in the company of their driving instructor. But you exploited your position to abuse them.”
“You betrayed other decent and honourable men and women who earn their living by being driving instructors. Apart from being a punishment for you, the sentence must deter others who must know that the consequences if caught are serious.”
“You were old enough to be their father.”
