Pervert snared by Phantom Justice paedophile-hunter travelling to meeting girl of 13

A pervert who thought he was grooming a vulnerable 13-year-old for sex was arrested after he was snared by a paedophile-hunting group called Phantom Justice.

Twisted Przemyslaw Adamski, 33, was detained by police at Birmingham’s New Street station as he travelled to what he thought was a rendezvous with a schoolgirl.

But the Facebook account he was communicating with was actually being run by the Phantom Justice group, who tipped off officers.

The fake profile was created on April 10 in the name of Marie Johnson and made it clear the fictional girl was just 13 and in care.

Daniel White, prosecuting, told Birmingham Crown Court the account was approached “almost immediately” by Polish-born Adamski and others.

He arranged a meeting at Codsall railway station, near Wolverhampton, for April 14 and asked for a picture, calling her “honey”.

Adamski also asked about kissing and cuddling her and said he would teach her “naughty things”, the court heard.

He referred to her as “my sexy baby” and asked about her underwear, Mr White said.

Adamski told police he had not intended to do anything sexual with the girl on their first meeting although if he liked her he would consider a relationship with her.

Adamski sent the fake Facebook profile this message.

He said he had had doubts as to whether she was real.

Adamski, of Granville Square, Edgbaston, had previously admitted attempting to meet a child following sexual grooming.

He was handed a 20-month suspended sentence and ordered to register as a sex offender for ten years.

Passing sentence, Judge Jonathan Gosling told him: “You responded enthusiastically to a fake profile that had been set up to ensnare people like you who have an interest in girls.

“The messages run into many dozens over a number of days and you were prepared to groom her.”
