Dean Hall, 42, of Lake House, Bury St Edmunds, pleaded guilty at a plea and trial preparation hearing to illegally importing a child sex toy into the UK through Stansted Airport in November last year.

He also admitted four offences of making indecent images of children which were found on laptop, a tower unit and a UCB stick Michael Crimp, prosecuting, said that on a scale of A to C, with level A being the most serious, police experts found 699 still and moving images at level A, 1241 at level B and 33,592 at level C.

Judge John Devaux adjourned the case until July 10 for a pre-sentence report and ordered Hall to sign the sex offenders’ register.
