Pensioner had 400 films of people having sex with animals
A pensioner has admitted downloading almost 400 movies from the internet which showed people having sex with animals.
Peter Stevens, aged 72, of Poltimore Lawn, Barnstaple, pleaded guilty to possession of 460 extreme images of which 391 were movies.
The material was described as “grossly offensive, disgusting, and realistically portraying people performing acts of intercourse or oral sex with animals”.
He also admitted possession of 29 prohibited images of children, which were drawings rather than photographs.
He denied three counts of making indecent images of children between May 2010 and October last year. These relate to 18 images and two movies at the most serious category A and 62 images at the two lower categories.
Recorder Mr Martin Meeke, QC, adjourned the case for a trial on the indecent image charges and released Stevens on bail.
