A convicted sex offender broke court orders banning him from the internet by accessing an online chat site.
Stephen Griffin, 47, a prisoner at Perth, admitted that while being subject to a sexual offences prevention order which prohibited him from accessing the internet, he breached the order by accessing online social media site Chatango, on January 26, at Arbroath Road.
Sentence was deferred until May 9.
Dundee man had indecent photographs of children
A Dundee man has admitted possessing indecent images of children.
At Dundee Sheriff Court on Tuesday, Steven Griffin, 45, a prisoner at Perth, admitted that on September 2 at an address in Dundee, he took or permitted to be taken indecent photographs or pseudo photographs of children.
Sheriff Alastair Brown deferred sentence until January 5 for a proof in mitigation hearing to determine the number of images he pleaded guilty to.
