Man who admitted sexual encounter with a schoolgirl is spared jail
A man who had a sexual encounter with a troubled schoolgirl has walked free from court.
Judge Peter Bowers told 20-year-old James Dickinson that he would be “frightened” to lock him up because he would be unable to cope behind bars with his fragile mental state.
Dickinson, of Lanehouse Road, Thornaby, near Stockton, admitted three charges of sexual activity with a child
Dickinson was given a 15-month prison sentence, suspended for two years, and was banned from having either computer contact or unsupervised contact with females under 16.
