Man guilty of sexual assaults against young girl
A pervert has been jailed after he was found guilty of abusing a young girl
Lance McKeown, 26 who worked in the Llandudno Junction Cineworld was convicted at Caernarfon Crown Court of:
Sexual assault with penetration on a female child who was aged under 13
Sexual assault on a female child who was aged under 16
A risk assessment made by probation concluded that McKeown presented a high risk to children in the community.
The report also described how he has shown absolutely no remorse for his offences. He has refused to take part in any courses which would help him address his sex offending.
The judge sentenced McKeown to a total of three years, of which he must serve half.
He told him that he must register as a sex offender for 10 years
He was told that he must not stay in the same household as any female child aged under 18 without the prior approval of his supervising officer.
In 2010, McKeown (then living in Rochdale) appeared in court after he stole money off his father to feed a drug and alcohol addiction. McKeown admitted theft and was placed under 18 months supervision to address his drink and drug use, with £85 costs.
