Pervert caught distributing indecent images of children

A paedophile has avoided prison after he was convicted of distributing indecent images of children over Twitter.

Former council worker Arron Pulfer, 28-years-old of Great Yarmouth appeared at Norwich Crown Court where he pleaded guilty to:

  • Making indecent images of children

  • Possession of indecent images of children

  • Possession of extreme pornography 

  • Distribution of indecent images of children

The court was told that during 2015, indecent images of children were sent from an email address belonging to Arron Pulfer which were then uploaded to the internet via Twitter.

Pulfer also exchanged messages on Twitter through its direct messaging service which expressed an interest in the sexual abuse of children, naming one child in particular who was aged 13-years-old.

A warrant was executed at Pulfer’s address where a number of items were seized.

Around 1000 images and DVD’s were found on a laptop and an Apple I-phone. They covered all levels of indecency including the rape or torture of children.

Images of extreme pornography showing humans engaged in sexual acts with animals were also found.

Pilfer avoided prison and instead was handed a six months prison sentence which would be suspended for two years.

The judge told him he must complete a safe computer course and forty hours probation

Pulfer was must register as a sex offender for the next seven years
